Success is something Rebecca Ford of New Canaan, CT knows all about. At only 21 years old, she landed a full-page cover of the business section of the Montreal Gazette as a young female fashion entrepreneur. Her startup clothing line of premium luxury denim, Luscious, infused sensuality and exuberant youth into her high-end designs for young women. Since 1994, Ford steadily evolved with her clientele, branching upward and outward into new forms and fabrics while remaining firmly rooted in the Montreal music and art scene. Out of this niche evolved the dominant boutique-based brand for young women across Canada at the time, Luscious, an edgy, unabashed, and playful collection.
 

Originally from Canada and having lived abroad as a child in India and Germany, she expanded her boundaries far beyond what most people would consider possible at such a young age. This international perspective has helped make her one of the most well-rounded designers in North America.
